Description:

Administrators must have multiple points of recovery for their networks. Follow some of the plans below to make sure to have disaster recovery documented well.

To Resolve:

  1. Document all UPS’s (make, model, replacement battery info) and keep that in the department documentation.

  1. Create a backup schedule for daily, weekly, and monthly. Identify which computers/ shares have priority over others.

  2. If you have a generator, create a plan to how you will hook the generator up to the building and provide power in the case of a power outage.
